I should really call this thing: ‘heart attack pizza’. Or ‘I don’t care about bikini season-pizza’ because this concoction really does stick it to bikinis… and your heart (aaaand hips) for that matter. Gosh, I’m not really selling this thing, am I?
Well, there is a bit of history with this cookie; when I was in elementary school they sold these ‘pizza cookies’, which I have been searching to find in my adult life to no avail. So, I decided to make it on my own (using my foggy memory as my guide).
I decided to use this cookie recipe as my ‘dough’, and add the parts I remember being on those yummy cookies from way back in the day.
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 & 1/2 cups all purposed flour
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (I used 2 cups, though. I’m gross like that)
1 cup Reese’s pieces (or any other toppings you like)
– in a bowl, cream butters & sugars together. Beat in egg & vanilla. Stir in flour & chocolate chips until well blended.
– spread dough onto greased pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows & Reese’s pieces. Bake 5-6 minutes longer or until lightly browned.
-let cool on baking sheet
-devour like it were running away from you.
