Easter is one of my favourite times of the year; aside from the weather being much more favourable, & chocolate lining store shelves, it’s an occasion to reflect on the amazing power of grace.
Whenever I take a moment to think of what I would be like had I never been exposed to the forgiveness & love of my Savior, I tend to shudder & be even more thankful for how God would choose to forgive me in the most radical way.
Being humbled by the truth that God’s love & sacrifice is always greater than any sin or mistake I’ve made is something that is worth celebrating more than in one weekend a year. It just makes any bunny or foil-wrapped piece of chocolate dim in comparison!
Well, I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter! Here are some randoms from my life as of late:
My birthday came and went with a lot of sugar, buttery seafood, pretty gifts (including this book that I’ve been waiting to get my paws on for awhile), and spending quality time with the other half & babe.
I tried Burmese food for the first time, and it was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten! I’ve been thinking about that dish ever since!
