easy silhouette art.

I just might be the last person in the blogosphere to not have a silhouette cameo machine, so I guess I’m doing this craft ‘ye ol’ fashioned way: scissors.

I wanted to have a framed silhouette of our dog, but because she’s usually too wild to get a picture of her standing still, I decided to look online for a similar looking dog.
I found a picture similar here, and printed it and enlarged it to the size I wanted. Then I cut it out very carefully (at this point I was wishing I had a machine to do it for me!)

Then I traced it onto the back of a pretty patterned piece of scrapbook paper,

and cut ‘er out (again, wishing I asked Santa for a silhouette machine at this point…)

I used double-sided tape and placed it onto another piece of paper.

et voila.
Seriously easy silhouette art that I’m sure Mr. silhouette-cameo-himself would be proud of!

Ha I don't have a machine either. But I have seen all the silhouette animals around and have been thinkin' about doin' one too. I'll remember to keep it a simple shape, ie, not a lot of fur. :)
