I bring a really simple DIY that I actually completed about a year ago, but haven't posted until now. Why? Well, I didn't really know what to do with it.
Let me explain.
One day I came across this simple magazine rack in the local Goodwill. Nothing special, but it did have the bamboo frame that tends to make my heart skip a beat. For less than $5, it was mine.
Now, I knew I didn't want to use it for magazines because I just hate it when they all flop over and have a forever-crease (am I alone in this?), so I decided with a coat of spray paint, it could function as something entirely different.
a book holder? a cool candle holder for a fake fireplace? a log holder for our non-existent fireplace?
no.no.no.
Voila.
An alternative to having-to-run-sopping-wet-down-the-hallway-nervously-peering-behind-corners-lest-someone-sees-you-and-your-privates.
Or rather, seeing as these are just face towels, more appropriately, just a great towel holder in the bathroom :)
And another cool thing about using this rack for towels is that it's elevated above the floor so if there are any puddles, you don't have a wet towel to dry with (don't you hate that? Or am I alone in that too?)
:)
